Happiness

My friend recently did a post titled "Happiness" and showed some things that brought her happiness!  I thought it was a great idea and a way to bring some positive thoughts around here (let's just say we have had quite the week or two with a newly naughty little 3 year old!!).

So... Happiness is...

Listening to Hadley play/pretend in the tub for more than an hour (and that's with me having to DRAG her out)...

Knowing there will be a cute, sweet little baby in here in LESS than 3 weeks!!

After dragging my feet forever, getting a Costco membership and enjoying a Saturday lunch...

Happiness is...  watching Hadley learn and grow more and more each day.  I love watching her practicing write her name in shaving cream :)

Date nights in with popcorn & peanut M&M's!!

Seeing my pretty girl dressed cute for church!!

And happiness definitely is watching Hadley be so sweet and loving with little Cooper!  I can't wait to see her develop a bond with her own little brother!

Easter Weekend 2013

We kicked off Easter weekend bright and early with the city egg hunt.  It was a PERFECT morning weather wise and so much fun!!  Hadley had been waiting for weeks for this and was seriously running to get there!!

So funny that she thought this was the real Easter bunny!!  This was the first year and she and Max were in an older category (3 & 4) year olds and had to get the eggs by themselves.  But they both did super good!

After a long shopping trip with my sisters to the new outlets at point of the mountain we met up with Becca and Jesse for a picnic at the park and egg dying.

Sunday morning Hadley woke up to a fun basket and a little egg hunt, both inside and outside!

The rest of the day we focused on the true meaning of the day.  Although Hadley did quite understand the day was focused on the Savior and not candy and Easter bunnies, it was nice for Steve and I to remember :)

Spring Break

Everyday is like spring break for Hadley and I- we go where we want (pretty much) and do what we want (pretty much), but we LOVE it when Steve has a break.  A few weeks ago, Steve had a break from school, we wish work too though :)  We were lucky because it was a week with beautiful weather and we were able to some fun things outside to kick start our Spring!!

Hadley really enjoys going all over the neighborhood in the bike she got from Grandma & Papa!

One evening we had fire in the backyard and made smore's... they were certainly delicious and hit the spot!!

One day we met Becca and the kids at the park for a picnic lunch!!  It's been so much more fun to take Hadley to the park this year- she will do everything now and will do it all by herself- my little scaredy cat is getting braver :)

Steve decided to teach her some Wii games one evening while I was cooking dinner... I was not super pleased :)

I have been taking Hadley to the park almost everyday the weather allows, often more than once!  But it seems to be so much more fun when dad goes!!

The last day of the break we gave into the begging and took Hadley to feed the ducks up at BYU.  She has been asking ALL winter long and it did not disappoint her :)

A great week with dad!!
